Americans Requesting Uber In U.K. Suddenly Aware They Have No Fucking Idea What A Ford Galaxy Is

NEWCASTLEStill slightly surprised Uber was a thing in the U.K., but unsure why it wouldn’t be simultaneously, Americans Donald Walters and Robert Johnson found themselves confused early Monday morning after ordering an Uber. Both men were sent into a slight panic after realizing neither of them knew what a Ford Galaxy actually was.

“Your Uber will arrive in three minutes, in a green Ford…. Galaxy. ”

“What the fuck is that? Like the Galaxie 500?”

“No… I don’t know, Donnie.”

“Is it like the Five Hundred? Like the newer one? Do they still make that here?”

“I don’t know. Could be.”

“So we’re just looking for a green Ford? A rebadged something?”

A green Ford then pulled up to the curb.

“What is this, Rob? A minivan?”

Donald opened the rear passenger door, expecting it to slide open on rails.

“So it’s not a minivan then?”

He glanced at the tachometer as he got seated.

“It’s a diesel?”

He looked extremely confused, almost lightheaded as his view shifted to the gear selector.

“It’s a manual, diesel… minivan?”

He gradually began to settle into the car as the drive began.

“Rob, getting in this thing didn’t really answer any questions.”
