In an email exchange with the people at Craigslist this afternoon, they clarified a new feature on their website.
“Whenever somebody writes, ‘I know what I have’ in the body of their post, the site detects it.”
“It then automatically adds a big button to the top of the page that says, ‘No you don’t.’
“By clicking the button, the post gets flagged. You can also send a variety of pre written messages.”
Some examples?
“Well we’re starting simple. So far we have, ‘You’re a dumbass’, ‘Fuck you moron’, ‘Eat shit'”.
“Stuff like that.”
“We’re working on a similar feature for posts containing the phrase, ‘No lowballers'”.
“We’re also going to start selling the emails and phone numbers of people who post their car for a dollar.”
Simply amazing. I love each new post you’ve been coming up with.

How about a one-strike permaban for dealers who list any car without a clutch pedal as “manual”?
